Malaika Arora in Trouble: Court Issues Final Warning Over Hotel Brawl Case

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Malaika Arora has landed in legal trouble after failing to appear in court in connection with the 2012 hotel brawl case involving actor Saif Ali Khan. A Mumbai court has issued a final warning, stating that a non-bailable warrant may be issued against her if she does not appear for the next hearing scheduled on July 9.
According to Indian media reports, the Chief Judicial Magistrate K.S. Zanwar expressed displeasure over Arora’s repeated absence, noting that despite her lawyer being present, the actress has been deliberately avoiding the court proceedings. She also missed the hearing on April 29, despite a bailable warrant already being issued against her.
The case dates back to February 22, 2012, when a scuffle broke out at a five-star hotel in South Mumbai. Saif Ali Khan, along with Shakeel Ladak and Bilal Amrohi, was arrested following a complaint by NRI businessman Iqbal Sharma, who alleged that Saif attacked him and fractured his nose.
At the time of the incident, Saif was accompanied by Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora, and other friends.
The court has now given Malaika Arora a final opportunity to comply, warning that failure to appear on July 9 will lead to more serious legal consequences.
