Karachi to Endure Intense Heat and Humidity Today, Weather Department Warns

Karachi: Karachi is expected to remain under the grip of intense heat and humid conditions today. According to the Meteorological Department, the current temperature in the city is 31°C, but the heat index feels like 33°C.**

The department forecasts that the temperature may rise to 38°C during the day, with the high humidity levels making the heat feel between 41°C and 43°C. The humidity is recorded at 70%, and light winds are blowing at a speed of 9 km/h from the southwest.

The weather department has predicted that the extreme heat will persist over the next 24 hours, but there is a possibility of a slight improvement in the evening when sea breezes are expected to resume.

Experts have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities, exercise caution under direct sunlight, and stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
