Bhakkar: The “Khushhal Khan Khatak Express” Resumed After 5 Years, Welcomed with Enthusiasm

Bhakkar:After nearly five years of suspension due to the **COVID-19 pandemic**, Pakistan’s renowned **Khushhal Khan Khatak Express** has been **reinstated**. The train, which operates between **Peshawar and Karachi**, was **warmly welcomed** at Bhakkar Station, with locals expressing their joy over its return.
According to **Railway officials**, the **Khushhal Khan Khatak Express** is Pakistan’s **only passenger train** that traverses all four provinces, providing direct travel facilities to millions of passengers. The train was **decorated with colorful flags**, and a large crowd gathered at Bhakkar Station to greet it.
This train, operating between **Peshawar** and **Karachi**, follows a long and significant route that includes **Bhakkar**, **Kotri**, **Dadu**, **Larkana**, **Jacobabad**, **Kandhkot**, **Kashmore**, **Rajganpur**, **Dera Ghazi Khan**, **Kot Addu**, **Kot Sultan**, **Leiah**, **Kandian**, **Mianwali**, **Jand**, **Attock City Junction**, and **Nowshera**.
During its journey, the **Khushhal Khan Khatak Express** serves as a **link** between various cultures and regions of Pakistan, facilitating the movement of people across diverse communities.
**Railway sources** also mentioned that the train’s resumption not only provides **convenient travel** for the public but is also expected to give a **boost** to the **local economy** and businesses along the route.
