Pakistan’s National Security Committee Vows Full Response to Any Indian Misadventure

Islamabad: In a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan’s National Security Committee (NSC) has decided that any act of aggression or misadventure by India will be met with a full and forceful response.
The emergency session was convened to deliberate on India’s actions following the recent attack in the Pahalgam region of Indian-administered Kashmir, which resulted in the death of 26 tourists. The NSC reviewed the current regional security situation, particularly the unilateral and irresponsible measures taken by India in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Held at the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Information Minister Atta Tarar, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, and other key federal ministers. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi and Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan were also present, alongside top military leadership and senior officials.
According to official sources, the committee expressed complete confidence in the operational preparedness of Pakistan’s armed forces and reaffirmed that any Indian provocation would be countered with full national strength.
