60-Year-Old Woman Killed in Armed Attack in Rawat; Shocking Video Emerges

RAWAT – A 60-year-old woman, identified as Musarrat Bibi, was brutally shot and killed by armed assailants traveling in a car in the Rawat area. A distressing video showing the injured woman lying on the ground and crying out in pain has surfaced online, raising serious concerns about public apathy.

According to police, the victim was a property dealer and owned various land assets. She had reportedly been contacted by three men and a woman under the pretense of showing them a site for a farmhouse purchase. Initial investigations suggest that the deceased had ongoing dealings with the suspects in connection to land transactions.

The tragic incident occurred when Musarrat Bibi left her home with the suspects to show them a property site. On Chak Beli Road, the suspects opened fire on her, leaving her fatally injured. Her body has been moved to a hospital for a post-mortem examination.

City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani has taken notice of the incident and has demanded a detailed report from SP Saddar. He has also ordered the immediate arrest of the culprits.

The disturbing video shows the woman lying in a field next to the road, visibly in pain, while several bystanders can be seen standing nearby without offering aid. This inaction has sparked outrage on social media, with citizens expressing concern over the lack of humanity displayed in the footage.

A Rescue 1122 spokesperson stated that their team arrived at the scene within 10 to 12 minutes of receiving the alert and provided initial medical assistance. Unfortunately, the woman succumbed to her injuries while being transported to the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are making efforts to apprehend the suspects.
