UC Chairman Aamir Bhutto Shot Dead in Orangi Town

Karachi:A tragic incident unfolded in Karachi’s Orangi Town area, where UC Chairman Aamir Bhutto was shot dead inside his office. The incident occurred in Pakistan Bazaar, Orangi Town, when unidentified assailants entered Bhutto’s office and opened fire, killing him on the spot. After the shooting, the attackers managed to flee the scene without facing any immediate opposition.

According to police authorities, investigations are underway, with evidence being collected from the crime scene and witness statements being recorded. Police sources revealed that when the assailants arrived at Aamir Bhutto’s office, he welcomed them and even offered them water. The conversation was ongoing when the attackers suddenly opened fire.

Aamir Bhutto, a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was known for his active political involvement. Following the incident, several PPP leaders, including Saeed Ghani and Waqar Mehdi, rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. A large number of party workers also gathered at the hospital in solidarity.

Saeed Ghani expressed concern over the killing, stating that Aamir Bhutto was an active party worker. He suggested that this attack might be part of a larger conspiracy to destabilize the improving law and order situation in the city, pointing out that such incidents are a cause of serious concern for the ruling party.
