WhatsApp Expands Video Status Duration to 90 Seconds for Beta Users

Karachi:WhatsApp, owned by Meta, has rolled out a new feature allowing users to post video statuses up to **90 seconds** long, significantly increasing the previous limit of **60 seconds**.

This extension aims to enhance the user experience by allowing individuals to share longer videos without the need for editing or splitting them into multiple parts. Initially, the feature was tested with a **30-second** limit, which was then raised to **60 seconds**. Now, select **beta users** have access to the 90-second video status feature.

The feature is being introduced gradually, so not all beta users currently have access. However, those who do can now share personal moments or longer clips in a seamless way.

As of now, WhatsApp has not announced a specific timeline for when this feature will be available to all users worldwide.
