Lahore Police Releases Performance Report for the Year: Thousands of Criminals Arrested

Lahore: The Lahore Police has released its performance report for the current year, highlighting its achievements in crime prevention and law enforcement operations across the city.
According to the spokesperson for Lahore Police, more than 8,440 proclaimed offenders, 6,670 court absconders, and over 2,900 habitual criminals have been arrested so far this year.

Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana stated that operations against habitual and proclaimed offenders are ongoing and have contributed significantly to controlling crime in the city.
He emphasized the need for continuous coordination with complainants and better information sharing to make arrests more effective. The CCPO directed that both the Operations and Investigation wings must work together in joint actions to apprehend criminals.
He also stressed the importance of using human intelligence and modern technology to bring offenders to justice, and to complete investigations promptly to ensure that offenders receive appropriate punishments.
Furthermore, CCPO Kamyana advised that social media platforms should also be monitored to trace absconders and bring them under the law.
