Pakistan and Belarus Sign Agreements to Enhance Military Cooperation and Trade

Minsk: During a formal ceremony at Belarus’s House of Freedom, Pakistan and Belarus signed several key agreements aimed at boosting military cooperation, trade, and collaboration in various other sectors, including postal services.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, on a state visit to Belarus, was warmly received by President Alexander Lukashenko. The Pakistani Prime Minister was given a guard of honor by the Belarusian Armed Forces, and both countries’ national anthems were played during the welcoming ceremony.
Following the reception, a formal event was held where officials from both countries signed agreements and memorandums of understanding (MOUs). Among the key agreements, Pakistan and Belarus’s Ministry of Defence signed a deal to enhance military cooperation. Additionally, Pakistan’s Trade Development Authority (TDAP) and the Belarusian Chamber of Industry and Commerce also formalized an agreement to promote trade ties.
An agreement was also signed between the postal departments of both nations, Pakistan Post and Belarus Post, to facilitate better handling of postal items between the two countries.
Furthermore, a series of MOUs were signed across various sectors, emphasizing the deepening of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Belarus.
