Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch Condemns Abduction of Party Leader Comrade Ghafar Qambarani

In a strong statement, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, the central president of the National Party, condemned the unlawful arrest and enforced disappearance of party leader Comrade Ghafar Qambarani, calling it a grave violation of basic human rights and an attack on democracy. He described this act as a direct assault on the voice of the people and a serious infringement on fundamental freedoms.

Dr. Baloch emphasized that Comrade Ghafar Qambarani is a dedicated political activist who has long been a proponent of the peaceful and democratic struggles championed by the father of Balochistan, Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo. Comrade Ghafar Qambarani has participated in multiple elections, serving as a nazim and councilor, and has been committed to serving the people and his community.

The statement further highlighted that the forced disappearance of Comrade Ghafar Qambarani demonstrates the government’s fear of the democratic political process. It reflects the continuation of 70 years of negative policies aimed at suppressing the voice of the people. These same policies have significantly worsened the situation across the country, particularly in Balochistan.

As global attention on human rights violations in Pakistan rises, the statement called for the immediate release of Comrade Ghafar Qambarani and urged the government to end its undemocratic and illegal actions.
