NAB Freezes Term Deposits of Bahria Town Karachi in Ongoing Investigation

Karachi:The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has frozen various term deposits in different banks belonging to Bahria Town Karachi as part of an ongoing investigation.

According to details, significant progress has been made in the investigation against Bahria Town Karachi. NAB Sindh, under the signature of DG NAB Karachi, Javed Akbar Riaz, has issued formal orders to freeze 655 Term Deposit Receipts (TDRs).

NAB Sindh confirmed that these TDRs, held in different banks, are registered in the names of Bahria Town and an individual. The total value of the frozen TDRs is reportedly in the billions. This move marks an important step in NAB’s investigation into the financial dealings of Bahria Town Karachi.
