Islamabad High Court Summons Superintendent of Adiala Jail Over PTI Leader Mashal Yousafzai’s Meeting with Imran Khan

Islamabad:The Islamabad High Court has summoned the Superintendent of Adiala Jail in person in response to a petition filed by PTI leader Mashal Yousafzai, challenging the denial of her request to meet Imran Khan. Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan, while hearing the petition, ordered the Superintendent of Adiala Jail to appear before the court at 12 PM.

The court directed the Superintendent to meet with the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, and confirm whether Mashal Yousafzai is authorized to act as his lawyer. The court further instructed that if the Superintendent’s statement is not satisfactory, Imran Khan should be presented in court by 3 PM. The IG Islamabad has been directed to make arrangements for presenting Imran Khan in the court.
