Pakistani Student Musa Haraj Elected President of Oxford Union

Musa Haraj, a student from Pakistan, has been elected as the President of the prestigious Oxford Union. He is the fourth Pakistani to hold this significant position. Previous Pakistani presidents of the Oxford Union include former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, as well as Ahmad Nawaz and Israr Khan Kakar.

Musa Haraj, a Master’s student in Economics at Oxford University, is the son of former federal minister Muhammad Raza Hayat Haraj. Haraj received the highest number of votes in recent years in the history of the Oxford Union elections.

Upon his election as President, Musa expressed his gratitude, stating that it is an honor for him to be selected as the President of the Oxford Union, and he thanked Allah for this achievement. He also expressed hope that his election would send a message to students not only in Pakistan but across South Asia, encouraging them to dream big.

The Oxford Union is one of the world’s most renowned student unions, where important global personalities engage in debates and discussions on a wide range of topics.
