Hollywood Star Terry Crews Delays Flight to Join Dubai’s Iftar Food Distribution for Workers

Hollywood actor, American TV host, and former football player Terry Crews delayed his flight on the first day of Ramadan to participate in packing and distributing Iftar meals for workers in Dubai.
Known for his roles in films like *White Chicks* and *The Expendables* series, as well as his popular character in the TV show *Brooklyn Nine-Nine*, Crews took part in the Iftar meal distribution organized by *The Giving Family*.
Subria Rahbi, co-founder of *The Giving Family*, shared that Terry Crews, who was in Dubai for business, postponed his return journey to join the initiative and see firsthand the work being done. She said, “He helped us pack the meals and distribute them, and expressed how much he was moved by the community’s efforts and the event’s purpose.”
Crews, on this occasion, expressed his pride in being part of the event, stating, “What you are doing today means a lot to many people. Give yourselves a round of applause for your efforts.”
Subria Rahbi further explained that *The Giving Family*’s 2025 Iftar campaign kicked off this Ramadan with the goal of distributing 500,000 meals. “Yesterday, we distributed 5,000 meals, and our goal for this year is to reach 500,000 meals throughout the month,” she said. The daily meal distribution is dependent on donations, and on some days, the total can reach up to 20,000 meals.
