Meteorological Department Predicts Rain and Snowfall Across Pakistan at the Start of Ramadan

Karachi:The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted widespread rain and snowfall across the country at the onset of Ramadan. According to the department, heavy rain and snowfall on the mountains are expected on March 2 and 3, while most areas of the country will experience dry weather today, with cold conditions likely in the northern regions.

The department also mentioned that parts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan will see partly cloudy skies, with light rain and snow on the mountains, accompanied by occasional thunder and lightning.

It is important to note that the moon for Ramadan was not sighted yesterday, meaning the first day of fasting will be observed on Sunday.
