PSL 10 Schedule Announced: The Historic 10th Edition to Begin on April 11, 2025
The schedule for the historic 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been officially announced. HBL PSL 10 will kick off on April 11, 2025, with the defending champions Islamabad United facing two-time champions Lahore Qalandars in a match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The tournament will feature six teams and a total of 34 matches, which will be played from April 11 to May 18. Lahore’s iconic Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including two eliminators and the final.
Before the event begins, an exhibition match will be held in Peshawar on April 8, with the participating teams to be announced later.
A total of 11 matches will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, including the qualifier on May 13. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches. The event will also feature three double-headers, two of which will take place on weekends and one on Labour Day.
Karachi Kings, who won the fifth edition of the league, will play their first match on April 12 against last season’s runners-up Multan Sultans at their home ground. Multan Sultans, the champions of the sixth edition, will play their first home match against Lahore Qalandars on April 22.
The newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host its first PSL 10 match on April 24, when Lahore Qalandars, the champions of the seventh and eighth editions, face Peshawar Zalmi at home.
Peshawar Zalmi, who won the 2017 PSL, will play five of their matches at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, while Quetta Gladiators, the champions of the fourth edition, will play their five matches at Gaddafi Stadium.
Salmān Nasir, CEO of HBL PSL, expressed great pleasure in announcing the schedule for the 10th edition of the tournament. He stated, “In the past decade, HBL PSL has gained a prominent position globally and has showcased Pakistan’s best cricket talent.”
He further added, “This year, not only will international players of the highest caliber be in action, but fans will witness 34 thrilling matches in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. In line with expanding the PSL’s reach, we are hosting an exhibition match in Peshawar, which will be a historic moment for the city’s cricket fans.”
The final of HBL PSL 10 will be held on May 18 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, with the eliminators taking place on May 14 and 16 at the same venue.
