School Timings for Ramadan Announced in Punjab and Sindh

Punjab:The School Education Department of Punjab has issued new working hours for all public and private educational institutions across the province during the month of Ramadan.

According to the new schedule, schools will operate from Monday to Saturday, with timings set from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. On Fridays, schools will open at 8:30 AM and close at 12:30 PM. For schools running double shifts, the second shift will begin at 1:00 PM and end at 4:00 PM. On Fridays, the second shift will start at 2:30 PM and conclude at 5:00 PM.

**Sindh:**
Similarly, the Sindh government has also announced the school timings for Ramadan. According to the notification, double-shift primary schools will operate as follows: The first shift will run from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, while the second shift will be from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM. Single-shift primary schools will function from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

On Fridays, the timings for primary schools will be as follows: The first shift will be from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the single shift from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and the second shift will be from 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM.

For secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools operating in double shifts, the timings will follow the same schedule as primary schools. The first shift will be from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and the second shift will run from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM. The single shift will operate from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

On Fridays, secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools will observe the following timings: The first shift will run from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the single shift from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and the second shift from 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM.

These new timings are expected to help adjust the school schedule in accordance with the fasting hours during the holy month of Ramadan.
