PTI Leader Shire Afzal Marwat Accuses Shahbaz Gill of Stealing Imran Khan’s Phones and Giving Them to Faiz Hameed

Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Shire Afzal Marwat has accused PTI leader Shahbaz Gill, who is based in the United States, of stealing two mobile phones belonging to Imran Khan and handing them over to Faiz Hameed.
Marwat revealed that an inquiry was conducted into the matter, which ultimately held Shahbaz Gill responsible. According to Marwat, Shahbaz Gill had claimed that he had “left the mobile phones in the airplane.”
Marwat further stated that Imran Khan had punished Shahbaz Gill for his actions by refusing to meet him ever since. “Imran Khan decided that Shahbaz Gill would not be allowed in his house or office. After making a deal, Shahbaz Gill left the country,” he added.
Marwat mentioned that Hafiz Farhat, who became Imran Khan’s Chief of Staff after Shahbaz Gill, could confirm this claim.
It is important to note that Shire Afzal Marwat was expelled from PTI last month. The party issued a show-cause notice to Marwat upon the direction of PTI founder Imran Khan. The notice accused Marwat of making statements against the party’s negotiations with the government and party policy, in direct contradiction to Imran Khan’s orders.
PTI’s General Secretary, Salman Akram Raja, commented on Marwat’s expulsion, stating that Marwat was not removed because of him, and there were no personal or ideological differences between them. He explained that multiple party leaders had lodged complaints against Marwat for his inappropriate remarks and policy violations, including controversial statements regarding the Saudi government and the negotiation process. As a result, PTI founder Imran Khan made the decision to expel Marwat from the party.
Salman Akram Raja added that he was not involved in the decision and that it was entirely up to Imran Khan to decide if Marwat would be reaccepted into the party. He concluded that if Marwat wished to engage in any criticism or debate, it should be with Imran Khan directly.
