JI Provincial Amir Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Criticizes Government’s Approach Towards Parliament

Quetta, February 15, 2025* – Jamaat-e-Islami’s Provincial Amir, Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman, has criticized the ruling government for turning the parliament into a mockery. Speaking to the media on Friday, he expressed his concerns, saying that the seriousness of the parliament’s sessions has been compromised, and it is clear who is truly committed to the country’s progress.

Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman pointed out that this was the third briefing in the Balochistan Assembly, and the lack of seriousness was evident to everyone. He further stated that the Chief Minister and his cabinet were absent, leaving the assembly session incomplete and ineffective. “How can we have meaningful discussions when the leaders are absent? Parliament has been turned into a joke,” he said.

The JI leader stressed that the government should be held accountable for its failure to conduct the affairs of the parliament seriously and responsibly.
