Balochistan National Party Expresses Concerns Over Government’s Loss of Authority in the Region

Mir Nazir Ahmad Baloch, the Central Joint Secretary of the Balochistan National Party, has raised serious concerns about the complete erosion of the government’s authority in Balochistan. He stated that the public’s safety, both in terms of life and property, is no longer guaranteed, as various regions are seeing district administrations focus solely on extortion at check posts.

He highlighted that the government’s control has collapsed across all 33 districts of Balochistan, with no areas under proper governance. Instead, Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners are reportedly limited to extortion activities at check posts.

Mir Nazir Ahmed Baloch further emphasized that the Balochistan National Party reserves the right to defend its leaders and workers. He called on the Kalat administration to take immediate action against the individuals involved in such activities and ensure their arrest and punishment. He warned that if these issues are not addressed, the Balochistan National Party will resort to strong protests.
