
Pakistani actress Nadia Afghan has expressed her openness to taking on roles in India if offered. In a recent appearance on a private TV show, the senior actress spoke candidly on various topics, including her views on cross-border work opportunities. When asked whether she would consider acting in an Indian film or drama, Nadia stated, “Absolutely, I would. As an artist, I believe art has no boundaries.”
She further praised Indian cinema, noting that it is home to some of the finest actors, including Shah Rukh Khan and Konkona Sen Sharma, and emphasized that they engage in versatile and diverse roles. Nadia added that she would love to work with Shah Rukh Khan if given the opportunity.
The actress also revealed that she had once received an offer for a role in a Punjabi film from India. However, she could not take up the offer at that time due to personal issues, including her father’s illness, which prevented her from traveling to India.
Nadia Afghan mentioned that Sonam Bajwa, her favorite actress, is also her friend. The two connected through social media, and Nadia recalled how Sonam once made a video on the popular drama *Suno Chanda*, which led to their friendship.
On the other hand, Nadia Afghan made it clear that she would never work with writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, a statement she had previously made in the past as well.
Nadia Afghan is a renowned Pakistani television actress, known for her outstanding performances in numerous hit dramas such as *Afser Bikar Kaas*, *Radd*, *Suno Chanda*, *Kabuli Pulao*, *Kala Doria*, *Jafa*, and more. Currently, she is seen portraying the role of Sahr Khan’s mother in the drama *Tan Man Neil O Neil*.
