Wina Malik Shares Her Experience Meeting Maulana Tariq Jameel

Islamabad:Model, host, and actress Wina Malik recently shared her positive experience of meeting renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel, describing him as a kind and compassionate individual.

During an appearance on a show hosted by model and host Mathira, Wina Malik revealed that Maulana Tariq Jameel had personally expressed his desire to meet her. She said, “He came to find me and said, ‘I have been looking for you for a long time, I wanted to meet you.'”

Wina Malik explained that their meeting was very pleasant, and she appreciated Maulana Tariq Jameel’s respectful and considerate approach. She also mentioned that they have met multiple times, and in each interaction, he never pressured her or inquired about her personal life or decisions. “He never asked me what I was doing or what I was thinking. He never tried to impose anything on me, and he is truly a good person,” she added.

She recalled a special moment when Maulana Tariq Jameel called her while he was in the Holy Kaaba, offering prayers for her well-being. “He told me, ‘I am praying for you a lot, my daughter,'” Wina shared.

Talking about her religious journey, Wina Malik expressed that she initially believed wearing a headscarf would bring her closer to Allah. However, she later realized that understanding and reading the Quran is the true path to spiritual closeness.

Addressing her show ‘Istighfar’, Wina Malik mentioned that she still faces criticism for wearing skirts, with some claiming she cannot seek forgiveness in such attire. “I am still learning more about religion and its true essence,” she explained.

Wina Malik, who has worked in Bollywood and has been a well-known figure in the entertainment industry, has always been in the news not only for her work but also for her controversies. She moved to Dubai in 2014 after working in several films in India.
