Quetta Airport Road Murder Mystery Solved: Victim’s Friend Arrested as Killer

Quetta:The mystery surrounding the murder of **Muhammad Yaqoob**, whose body was found on **Airport Road** a day earlier, has been solved. Police investigations revealed that the killer was none other than the victim’s friend.

According to police reports, on the morning of **December 22**, at around 6 a.m., the **Jamil Shaheed Police** recovered the body of **Muhammad Yaqoob**, a resident of **Pashtunabad**, near the **NADRA office** on **Airport Road**. The victim had been brutally killed with **stab wounds** and **gunshots**, and his body was discarded on the roadside.

After registering a case, the investigation was handed over to the **Serious Crime Investigation Wing** of the police. Under the leadership of **SSP Zohaib Mohsin**, the investigation team worked diligently and, within **24 hours**, used **advanced technology** to trace the killer. The suspect, who had fled to **Loralai** after the crime, was apprehended by the police team and brought back to **Quetta**.

Police sources revealed that the arrested suspect was the victim’s business partner and friend. The murder was reportedly committed due to a **dispute over financial dealings**. Authorities are now conducting raids to capture a second suspect named in the case.
