On X, Farooqi said that on 20 October 2026, on the instructions of the relevant authorities, the Commissioner of Malakand Division got vacated a government residential house located in Swat that Kaleem Saeed (Murad Saeed’s brother), who is also a tax assistant in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, had illegally occupied for a long time.

Reports circulating on social media about action against Murad Saeed’s mother and father are false and baseless, and are being spread to gain public sympathy.
The relevant action was limited only to vacating the government residential house that Murad Saeed’s brother had illegally occupied.
No contact was made with any member of the family during this action.
Efforts are also ongoing to identify and vacate other such government properties in Swat and Malakand Division that are allegedly under illegal occupation.
