“Conspiracies to Weaken the Pashtun National Movement Are Impossible; People Should Continue Resistance Against Tyranny and Dictatorship” — Mukhtar Khan Yousafzai

Swat (Daily Qudrat) — Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (Pashtunkhwa NAP) co-chairman Mukhtar Khan Yousafzai has said that the participation of members in the meeting of the central committee named after the party’s central secretaries Arwashad Bacha Gul Afgan and Arwashad Shamsher Ali Khan is commendable, and we have made every possible effort to fulfill the promises made to workers at the national congress. Before this third meeting of the central committee, a national jirga was held in Quetta, and under the leadership of our collective leadership, a democratic party free of all kinds of negative practices and negative attitudes has been formed, and for the achievement of our nation’s national freedom and national autonomy, such a patriotic revolutionary party was needed, which we and you have formed. He said that all kinds of democratic and human rights have been snatched away in the country, tyrannical forces are attacking the oppressed people, and the voices of the people’s resistance are being suppressed, as is evidenced by the unjust, illegal arrests of Ali Wazir, Samad Lala, Noorullah Tareen, and Hanif Pashtun, and hundreds of illegal FIRs registered against political leaders and workers. The current government’s oppression, tyranny, and dictatorial steps are greater than every martial law regime of the past. He was addressing the central committee meeting in Swat.

He said that artificial terrorism has been imposed from Swat to Quetta, and the poor people face a situation of insecurity of life and property. Anti-Pashtun forces want to create obstacles in the path of our clear national objectives — national equality and the achievement of a national united province — and want to weaken the Pashtun national movement and force it to withdraw from the struggle, which is impossible. He said that in southern Pashtunkhwa, conspiracies are ongoing under fake allotments, and in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the name of the Survey of Pakistan, to seize our fertile lands, mountain ranges, forests, and mineral resources. The rulers of the country have imposed the worst conditions on all the people, especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, southern Pashtunkhwa, and Balochistan, and the state and its institutions are looting day and night, carrying out the worst exploitation of the country’s nations and peoples. The country’s debts have exceeded one hundred thousand billion, 8,500 billion rupees are being paid annually in interest, and government royal expenditures have exceeded all limits, and the country’s rulers refuse to accept the current constitution.

He said that the conspiratorial plan for new provinces is a conspiracy to rob the NFC Award and to rob mineral resources, although the Hazara region is a historical part of the Pashtunkhwa homeland and is entirely a Pashtun population, and the demand for a province for them is being made by the people of Punjab, and through such a new province, colonial Punjab wants to seize the Abaseen and Tarbela Dams, among other dams to be built, and their revenues. This is a conspiracy to further weaken the unity of the Pashtunkhwa homeland. He said that the purpose of the artificial terrorism imposed on southern Pashtunkhwa and the presence of armed groups under different names is, on one hand, to impose a new war on Afghanistan, and on the other hand, to prepare these elements for a conspiracy against Pashtuns and Balochs. While we have always supported the genuine demands of the Baloch national movement, we will not allow anyone to make the Pashtun homeland their battleground.

He said that the worst conditions have been imposed on Afghanistan, and the forces currently in power there had come to power with the help of our colonial rulers. There, all kinds of fundamental human rights are being violated, and unjust restrictions have been imposed on women’s education and rights. During this time, 8 million people have migrated from Afghanistan, and efforts are ongoing to eliminate all kinds of national, democratic, and human thought in Afghanistan. On the other hand, the rulers of our country want to pressure Afghanistan’s current administration to impose conditions of their choosing, the proof of which is the barbaric attacks on Afghanistan, in which, instead of harming government functionaries, ordinary poor people are targeted, and this same grave situation has been imposed on the Pashtunkhwa homeland.

He said that Iran is a permanent and independent country; America and its allies consider it a threat to themselves, which is why, after the arrest of Tanzania’s president, Iran was attacked, but the people of Iran continued their resistance united. He said that the Mecca Agreement is in reality meant to accomplish tasks that America cannot do. He said that the division of the Pashtun national political movement is a tragic tragedy of history. Pashtunkhwa NAP made continuous efforts and contacted all important parties for the formation of a national front, but the leadership of certain parties could not agree; however, Pashtunkhwa NAP, as a responsible party, will continue its efforts for the formation of a Pashtun national front.

He said that Pashtun people are facing agonizing difficulties in Sindh and Punjab, and the name “Pashtun” has been linked with hatred, and in the same way, Afghan Kadhwal people have also been made to suffer difficulties. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s statement proves her anti-Pashtun mindset, worst cunning, and negative intentions, although all centers of terrorism are located in Punjab, and their generals kept calling these mujahideen their assets and heroes. In this way, the massacre of our Pashtun people is also ongoing, and we are being declared wrong, which is condemnable and intolerable.

He said that party officials and workers, with extreme political insight and scholarly capabilities, must further accelerate their organizational and public contacts while making every plan, and must successfully conclude the party’s national congress. The All Parties Alliance in southern Pashtunkhwa and the joint struggle from its platform is welcome, and in the same way, efforts are ongoing for the formation of a united front against artificial terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The struggle against the conspiracy to further weaken the unity of the Pashtunkhwa homeland under the name of new provinces must be taken forward. Meanwhile, hopes for national thought and a national front are increasing in Afghanistan, and keeping these possibilities in mind, it is essential to further strengthen our ranks. The youth of the Pashtunkhwa homeland possess the passion and spirit of national courage and political awakening; they need to be made more active and organized.
