Solution to Balochistan’s Problems Lies Not in Military Operations But in Negotiations, Jirgas, and Provision of Constitutional Rights: Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and Member of Provincial Assembly Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch has said that the basic problems of Balochistan are missing persons, unrest, corruption, and unemployment. Insecurity on highways, closure of border trade, and use of force have worsened the situation further. The solution to problems lies not in military operations and threats but in negotiations, jirgas, and giving constitutional rights to the people.

Speaking to delegations in Quetta, he said that violation of merit, favoritism, nepotism, and bribery have disappointed the youth. The government should provide employment, education, and health facilities to the youth and resolve the issue of missing persons in accordance with the requirements of law and justice.

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch said that Balochistan, despite being rich in natural resources, is deprived of basic facilities. The province’s resources should be spent on the prosperity, development, and employment of the people of Balochistan. By securing and restoring border trade, the economic problems of local people should be resolved.

He said that for sustainable peace in Balochistan, it is necessary to restore the people’s trust, eliminate deprivations, and provide rights. Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its practical struggle for the rights of the people, peace, employment, and the elimination of corruption.
