The meeting also decided to accelerate progress on a program aimed at making 30,000 youth skilled and sending them abroad for employment.
The meeting reviewed ongoing measures for the promotion of technical education, enhancement of youth’s professional skills, and creation of employment opportunities. Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti inaugurated an Institute Registration Portal to increase the capacity of technical education and make the registration and monitoring system of institutions more effective. The portal will help improve the registration and performance monitoring system of technical training institutions.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that promoting a favorable environment is essential to provide employment opportunities to the youth. He stated that the promotion of technical education and skill development is indispensable for putting youth on the path of economic self-reliance. He said that youth should be provided technical training in accordance with modern requirements and market needs so that they can secure employment at local and international levels, improve their families’ economic conditions, and play an effective role in the country’s development.
The Chief Minister directed the relevant authorities to formulate a comprehensive strategy to make the 25,000 youth who complete technical training by next year part of the national and global economy. He said that training programs must be aligned with the real needs of employment so that instead of merely providing training, youth can be practically connected to employment opportunities.

The meeting also emphasized accelerating progress on the program to make 30,000 youth skilled in various fields and send them abroad for employment. The Chief Minister said that transforming the potential of youth into skills and making them employable at national and international levels is the need of the hour. For this purpose, he said, the performance of technical training institutions should be improved, the quality of training ensured, and effective coordination among relevant institutions promoted.
The meeting also reviewed the slow progress in achieving the targets of the Chief Minister Youth Skills Development Program. The meeting was informed that action has been initiated against those responsible for delays in implementation of the program and negligence in achieving the set targets. The Chief Minister directed that the implementation of technical training projects be accelerated and the performance of relevant institutions be regularly monitored to achieve the set targets.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the youth of Balochistan possess immense potential, which, if channeled in the right direction, can play an effective role in the economic development and prosperity of the province. He emphasized that technical education and vocational training programs should be made result-oriented so that youth can get dignified employment opportunities, increase their economic self-reliance, and become active participants in the national and global economy.
