“If They Have Any Honor, They Should Reach Swabi Tomorrow and Cross Over and Show It”: Faisal Karim Kundi

PESHAWAR (Qudrat Daily) – Criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s long march, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that if PTI has any honor, it should reach Swabi tomorrow and cross the Pul-e-Sirat and show it, then he would believe that it is truly a revolutionary party. Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, Faisal Karim Kundi said that he considers the Swabi route to be the Pul-e-Sirat (bridge of the hereafter) and challenged the PTI leadership to reach there and take one step forward and show it.

He remarked sarcastically that PTI claims to build a new Pakistan and bring about a revolution, but in practical terms, its public popularity is nowhere to be seen.

He also raised questions about Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s visits to Sindh and Punjab. He said that during these visits, no Punjabi or Sindhi was seen on the truck. PTI’s central leaders are confined to drawing rooms in Islamabad, while only a few people are visible in the march. He questioned where PTI’s claims of large-scale public participation had gone and how many party officials were participating in the long march.
