It Is a Headache for the Government That “Imran Khan, Imran Khan” Is Being Chanted Everywhere: Zubair Umar

Lahore (Qudrat Daily) – Leader of the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan and former Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Zubair Umar, while commenting on the current political situation, the government’s policies, and PTI’s protest march, has said that it is founding chairman Imran Khan who brought Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi forward in politics. If any conspiracy is hatched to remove or disqualify him, the movement will by no means stop, because Imran Khan will bring forward an alternative leadership.

Speaking to anchorperson Samina Pasha, he said that leadership like Sohail Afridi does not care about such tactics. The real worry and fear lies with those elements who allegedly came to power through Form 47 and are busy securing their personal businesses, the future of their generations, and their luxuries.

Referring to the international media coverage of PTI’s long march, he said that all major global networks, including the BBC and CNN, as well as international human rights organizations, are covering the march extensively, which has caused severe turmoil within government circles.

During his conversation, he also mocked the government, saying that at a time when the world was focused on the major issue of an Iran-US war, the attention of the entire world has now become centered on Pakistan and the name of Imran Khan, which has plunged the current government into severe pressure and a headache.
