PPP Nominates Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for Judicial Commission of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD:The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has nominated Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as its candidate for the Judicial Commission of Pakistan.

According to sources, a formal notification regarding Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s nomination to the Judicial Commission is expected to be issued soon.

Earlier, PPP Senator Farooq H. Naek and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Sheikh Aftab Ahmed had resigned from their positions as members of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan.

Sources said the members’ two-year term had been completed, and fresh nominations from the Senate and National Assembly are expected to be made soon.

According to sources, the appointment of members to the Judicial Commission is part of the routine process following the completion of their tenure.
