Imran Khan’s Sisters Allege Mental Torture in Jail, Announce Protests Outside Adiala

Rawalpindi: Following an emergency meeting with imprisoned PTI chairman Imran Khan, his sisters, Azma Khan and Alima Khan, held a press conference to relay his key messages to the nation and party workers.
Azma Khan alleged that Khan is subjected to severe mental torture in Adiala Jail. She stated that although he is physically healthy, he is extremely disturbed and angry due to being confined in a small cell for four weeks without meeting anyone. She also expressed concern over the treatment of Bushra Bibi and Dr. Yasmin Rashid.
**Party Discipline and Warning:** Imran Khan delivered a stern message to party members, warning that those trying to play both sides are “Mir Jafars” and “Mir Sadiqs” who have no place in PTI. He instructed the party to fully support the candidates nominated by Hamid Khan and Salman Akram Raja in the Pakistan Bar Council elections.
**Leadership Delegation:** Since many PTI leaders are imprisoned or in hiding, Khan has assigned leadership responsibilities to Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, urging party workers to follow their directions. He also praised Suhail Afridi’s steadfast protests outside the jail.
**Protests Announced:** Alima Khan announced that, in protest against the government’s illegal restrictions on visits, they will hold sit-ins outside Adiala Jail every Tuesday (Family Day) and Thursday (Political Meeting Day) until court-ordered visits are restored for six family members, six lawyers, and six political leaders.
**Message to the Nation:** Imran Khan urged citizens, especially farmers and those oppressed by sugar and land mafias, to stand against exploitation. He warned that failure to resist would leave future generations in bondage and called on the nation to rise for their rights.
