Passenger Riding on Roof of Coach Falls to Death on Nuttal National Highway; 16 Injured, Including Women, in Rickshaw Collision

Speeding Passenger Coach Overturns on Roadside; Injured Referred to Jacobabad, Sukkur, and Larkana Due to Inadequate Facilities at Local Hospital

Dera Murad Jamali (Daily Qudrat Quetta) – A passenger coach and a rickshaw collided on the Nuttal National Highway, resulting in the death of one passenger and injuries to sixteen people, including two women. The injured were referred to Jacobabad after medical aid. According to police, the collision occurred between a passenger coach travelling from Quetta to interior Sindh and a rickshaw near the E&T FC check post on the national highway within the jurisdiction of Nuttal Police Station. As a result, a passenger riding on the roof of the coach fell and died on the spot, while the coach overturned on the roadside, injuring sixteen people, including two women.

Upon receiving information about the incident, SHO Nuttal Ghulam Ali Kandrani, along with police personnel, carried out immediate rescue operations and shifted the injured to Teaching Hospital Dera Murad Jamali. After initial medical aid, the injured were referred to Jacobabad, Sukkur, and Larkana. According to police, the injured are said to belong to various areas of Sindh.
