Important Meeting Between Mohsin Naqvi and KP Governor; Agreement to Play Constitutional Role to Save Province from Terrorism

Peshawar (Qudrat Daily) — An important meeting was held between Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor’s House in Peshawar, in which it was agreed to play a constitutional role to save the province from terrorism.
The meeting between Mohsin Naqvi and the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took place at the Governor’s House in Peshawar, and the Chief Secretary and IG were also present. The meeting considered the law and order situation in the province and PTI’s long march.
According to the statement, the Governor and the Federal Interior Minister discussed the province’s political and security situation. The Governor and the Interior Minister agreed to play a constitutional role to save the province from terrorism.
According to the statement, it was agreed in the meeting that if the President and the Prime Minister consider Governor’s rule or emergency necessary, the Governor’s House will play its constitutional role.
The statement said that the use of government helicopters and resources in PTI’s long march would be a violation of court decisions.
IG Briefs Federal Interior Minister on Province’s Situation

According to sources, the IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that police are on alert amid the uncertain situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police personnel have been summoned to police lines from various districts, and a strategy has been prepared to deal with any emergency situation.
