Ziarat (Daily Quwat Quetta): Taking advantage of the darkness of night, unknown persons cut down around 70 fruit-bearing apple trees in an orchard in the Rust Kach area of Ziarat. After the incident, a wave of concern spread in the area, while orchard owners and local residents, expressing regret over the cutting of the trees, have demanded that the relevant authorities take notice of the incident and take action against those responsible.
According to local residents, unknown persons entered the orchard at night, cut down a large number of fruit-bearing apple trees and fled the scene. Due to the incident, the orchard owner suffered financial loss.
Area residents have demanded that a transparent investigation be conducted into the incident, the elements involved in cutting the trees be tracked down, and they be punished according to the law so that such incidents can be prevented in the future.
