All Pakistani International Cricketers to Participate in One Domestic Tournament, Says PCB

Lahore: In a significant move aimed at strengthening domestic cricket, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that all international cricketers will be required to participate in at least one domestic tournament.
The decision was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The meeting focused on preparations for upcoming cricket series and the overall development of Pakistan cricket.
Chairman Naqvi emphasized that playing alongside international players will help in the grooming of domestic cricketers. “A strong domestic cricket structure is essential for producing top-quality cricketers. Only through domestic cricket can we build a strong backup for our national team,” he stated.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the Pakistan Shaheens’ upcoming series and issued directions regarding the central contracts. Briefings were given on home series against South Africa and Sri Lanka, and the away tours of West Indies and Bangladesh.
Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson and T20 captain Agha Salman were also present during the meeting.
