Strong Possibility PTI Will Escape Governor’s Rule and Emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Muneeb Farooq

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Analyst Muneeb Farooq has said that the push to impose emergency in the province has weakened, but the needle is still stuck on removing Sohail Afridi from his post. In his vlog, he said that today is important because Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has returned, and the Prime Minister may hold several important meetings. There is a strong possibility that PTI will escape governor’s rule and emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and further positive developments may occur today. There are back-door or front-door contacts from PTI’s side, and regarding the long march, it was suggested to sit down and find a face-saving solution so that the matter could be settled there and then. This is why the possibility has arisen that PTI will escape governor’s rule and emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said, “I have said before as well that none of this should happen, because there is terrorism in the province and PTI has a strong government there.” The push to impose governor’s rule and emergency in the province has weakened, but the needle is still stuck on removing Sohail Afridi from his post — he will have to go. The option being discussed is an in-house change, meaning a no-confidence motion is being brought, and some people have also agreed on this, that the province should be run in a better manner and things there should be run in accordance with the state’s policy.
