Peshawar (Qudrat Daily) — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has warned that it appears the setup imposed on Pakistan wants to cause a major tragedy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He regretted that Pakistan’s national media is supporting them in this dirty game. Is PML-N going to play a big game by treating Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a laboratory? Our police and CTD, Mashallah, are extremely capable and equipped with modern weapons,” he said.
He said the federal institution HIT, despite receiving funds from the provincial government, is deliberately slowing down the supply of equipment. “The weapons given to the police department were not given for free but were received by paying money. The remaining equipment is not being provided despite taking the money. The clique occupying the federation through fake means wants to spread destruction in the country,” he said.

“Pakistan is ours. Pakistanis are ours. If any kind of adventure is attempted, we will respond in accordance with the Constitution and law in such a manner that you will not be able to raise your head for the rest of your life,” he warned.
Furthermore, addressing a meeting on law and order, he said the people, police, and army of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have made countless sacrifices for the establishment of peace, and more than 80,000 people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have laid down their lives for Pakistan. The peace achieved through two decades of sacrifices was once again sacrificed to unrest after the regime change operation. From the terrorists going to the mountains to their resettlement, we continuously warned the state and the federation, he said.
He said they raised their voice against the return of unrest by holding gatherings, processions, and protests in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but federal ministers dismissed their repeated warnings as propaganda and lies. “We said repeatedly that the state’s current policy is wrong and that it will cause the blood of Pashtuns to flow again. The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are being subjected to the experiments of a particular mindset. Today in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, army soldiers, police personnel, children, women, the elderly, and ordinary citizens are being martyred by terrorism,” he said.
He said no one cares about the blood and sacrifices of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Federal ministers call the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa terrorists and wild, but no action is taken against them. “One policy for the favourites and another for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cannot continue. The statement by Punjab’s fake chief minister that there is no threat from India but a threat from the remaining three provinces is extremely concerning,” he said.
