Gold Prices Fall Sharply in Pakistan, Rs12,800 Drop per Tola

ISLAMABAD: Gold prices continued their downward trend in Pakistan on Monday, with the price of gold falling by Rs12,800 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Following the decline, the new price of gold per tola stands at Rs438,136.

The association said the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs10,973, bringing the new rate to Rs375,631.

Meanwhile, the price of silver fell by Rs325 per tola, reaching Rs6,578.

Gold prices also declined in the international market, where the price dropped by $128 to $4,156 per ounce.

Gold prices are influenced by several factors, including international gold rates, fluctuations in the value of the US dollar, uncertainty in the global economy and geopolitical tensions.
