“Thousands of Desires Such That Life Would Depart on Every Desire!” Shafee Jan Mocks Rumours of Change of Chief Minister

PESHAWAR (Qudrat Daily) — A strictest stance of the provincial government has emerged on the news circulating regarding a no-confidence motion against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and his removal from office, where Provincial Minister for Information Shafee Jan, declaring all the reports fabricated, rejected them in severe terms.
In his reaction on the social media platform X in this regard, Provincial Minister for Information Shafee Jan said that the news circulating regarding bringing a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Sohail Afridi or his removal by PTI founder Imran Khan is completely false, baseless and fabricated, and is merely a continuation of the ongoing political propaganda against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the Chief Minister.

Taking political opponents to task and ridiculing them, the Provincial Minister wrote that those who present their desires under the name of “sources” should listen carefully that Sohail Afridi is not going anywhere; he is coming toward Islamabad on October 4, 2026. Remember the date. At the conclusion of his reaction, he also wrote Mirza Ghalib’s famous couplet: “Thousands of desires such that life would depart on every desire…”
