13 Terrorists Killed in Counterattack After Attack on Balochistan CM’s Close Aide’s House in Dera Bugti

Dera Bugti: Thirteen suspected terrorists were killed in a retaliatory operation by the Bugti Peace Force after terrorists attacked the residence of Wadera Ghulam Nabi Shambani, a close aide to Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and chairman of the Dera Bugti District Council.
According to tribal sources, the attack took place in the Beh Lohuti area of Dera Bugti, following which an intense exchange of fire broke out between members of the Bugti Peace Force and the attackers.
The sources said the peace force, operating under the supervision of Ghulam Nabi Shambani’s brother, Wadera Hidayat Shambani, confronted the attackers after the assault. The exchange of fire, which began late at night in the Shaheed Fazal Khan subdivision, continued until the early hours of the morning.
According to the sources, the attackers attempted to retreat and escape from the area during the clash. The Bugti Peace Force pursued them and, according to the tribal sources, killed 13 of the attackers, foiling their alleged attempt to flee.
One member of the Bugti Peace Force was killed in the terrorists’ firing, while three others were injured. The injured personnel were shifted to Karachi for medical treatment.
Tribal sources said the timely response by the Bugti Peace Force had foiled what they described as a major terrorist plan in the area.
The reported casualties and details of the operation were based on information provided by tribal sources.
