PTI Postponing Long March Is the Last Hope for Lowering Political Temperature: Fawad Chaudhry

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Former minister and political leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that PTI postponing its long march is the last hope for lowering the political temperature, and the government should now begin talks on legitimate demands. In a statement on X, he said that PTI postponing the long march is the last hope for reducing the political temperature; the government should show wisdom and begin dialogue on legitimate demands.
Shift Imran Khan to Bani Gala and provide relief to political prisoners, so that the country’s situation begins to improve. Fawad Chaudhry said that by including the political leadership imprisoned in Kot Lakhpat in the negotiation process, improvement in the situation can be expected.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said that the PTI political committee’s meeting regarding the long march is still ongoing, after which there will be another meeting with journalists. He said that this time when we come out, we will in any case arrange the “once for all” end of this corrupt system.

He said that for a month a narrative was being built that we face a threat not from India but from three provinces. Should we understand that work has formally begun on a conspiracy to break Pakistan? Where the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border ends, stakes are being driven in; official people from other provinces are entering our province and getting into confrontations. How should this be understood? Similarly, unverified news about postponing the long march until October is also circulating on PTI-affiliated social media pages and WhatsApp groups.
On the contrary, Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar, criticizing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, said that PTI is a coward, which is why it has run away from the long march. Sohail Afridi seems less like a chief minister and more like a TTP commander.
