“Garbage Is Thrown Because We Throw It”: Javed Chaudhry Mocks Punjab Education Minister’s Logic
Lahore: Renowned journalist, columnist and analyst Javed Chaudhry has sarcastically criticized Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat over his remarks about cleanliness and littering during a visit to a school.
During his show on Samaa TV, Javed Chaudhry referred to the minister’s remarks while speaking to schoolchildren about cleanliness. Rana Sikandar Hayat had reportedly told the students, “Do you know why garbage is thrown? Because we throw garbage. If we do not throw garbage, garbage will not be thrown.”
Taking a sarcastic tone, Javed Chaudhry said the minister had presented a remarkable formula and suggested that, as education minister, he should also have told the children that students fail in school because they fail.

He further mocked the logic by drawing comparisons with other obvious statements, saying that, according to the same reasoning, a person gets wet because he becomes wet and a person stumbles because he gets hit by a stumble.
Javed Chaudhry described the minister’s reasoning as an example of an unusual philosophy and continued his sarcastic criticism of the remarks.
