Woman Attacked with Acid While Travelling to Office with Husband in Karachi

KARACHI:A woman was allegedly attacked with acid by an unidentified assailant while she was travelling to her office with her husband in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area, police said.

According to police, the incident took place in Liaquatabad No. 5, where the woman was travelling with her husband on a motorcycle when an unidentified man allegedly threw acid at them before fleeing the area. ([The News Pakistan][2])

Police said the woman works at an office on Shahrah-e-Faisal and her husband was taking her to work when the incident occurred.
