“We Are Fighting the Imported Polio Virus; Polio Virus Found in Rawalpindi in July Came from Afghanistan” — Uzma Kardar

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): Punjab Chief Minister’s Focal Person for Polio, Uzma Kardar, while addressing a press conference, said that “we are fighting the imported polio virus,” and the transmission of the virus in Punjab cannot be ruled out.

She said that no child in Punjab should be deprived of polio drops. The anti-polio campaign will be launched in 13 districts, during which more than 10 million children in Punjab will be administered anti-polio drops.
