Jhal Magsi: Armed Attack on Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi’s Rest House Foiled; 3 Attackers Killed in Retaliatory Action
Dera Murad Jamali (Daily Qudrat) — An armed attack on the private rest house of Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi in the Nurani area of Jhal Magsi has been foiled. As a result of a strong retaliatory action by a peace force comprising local tribes, police, and security forces, intense clashes took place, in which three attackers were reportedly killed while several others are reported to have been injured.
According to police, the firing at Kotra police station has now stopped, and the attackers’ associates succeeded in fleeing, carrying their dead and wounded comrades with them. On the other hand, following reports of the presence of armed men in the Nurani area of Jhal Magsi, a joint search operation by security forces and police is still ongoing.
In addition, intense exchange of firing also took place between armed men and police and security forces in the Bhagnari area of Kachhi. Due to the heavy firing, the bazaar and markets of Bhagnari city were immediately shut down, and local people remained trapped in their homes out of fear and panic. According to officials, no report of any loss of life or property has been received so far in this incident.
