“If You Want to Fight, Then Fight Openly” — Barrister Gohar Told With a Hand Gesture, Claims Muneeb Farooq

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Anchorperson and analyst Muneeb Farooq has rejected PTI’s current political strategy, the progress of Barrister Gohar’s meetings, and reports of negotiations with the establishment. In his vlog in this regard, he said that the government and the establishment currently have no interest whatsoever in any kind of talks with PTI, and all efforts are being made unilaterally by Barrister Gohar. During a recently held highly important meeting with Barrister Gohar, he was clearly told with a hand gesture, “Gohar brother! If you want to fight, then fight openly; whatever happens next will be seen.”

He claimed that all efforts for dialogue are being made merely by Barrister Gohar in order to find some middle path, while the government and the establishment currently have no interest in resolving the matter. On one hand, Imran Khan’s sisters are being humiliated outside Adiala Jail and are not even being allowed to meet him; on the other hand, news is being circulated about sending cake to Imran Khan and meetings with generals.
Shedding light on the contradictions of the judicial system and political history, Muneeb Farooq said that in the past, these same courts used to issue verdicts on who would remain in jail and who would go free. When times change and decisions come with the establishment’s seal, as a result, leaders like Nawaz Sharif walk out with ease. But today, those same courts say that no prisoner can be discriminated against. This is changing times — today it has changed in someone’s favor, tomorrow it will change in someone else’s.
