Alleged Police Raid on Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed’s House; PTI Leader’s Daughter Levels Serious Allegations

Lahore (Daily Qudrat): A reaction from the daughter of imprisoned senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former provincial minister Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed has emerged regarding an alleged police raid on his residence.
Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed’s daughter, Maryam Kulsoom Akram, on the social media platform X, leveled allegations of alleged police action, vandalism, and humiliating behavior toward her ailing mother at her parents’ residence. She wrote that last night, a heavy police contingent raided her father Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed’s house. According to neighbors and eyewitnesses, approximately 25 masked police personnel and unidentified individuals suddenly broke down the door of the house and entered.

She stated that upon entering the house, the police personnel severely vandalized belongings and furniture and created a commotion. The police personnel allegedly adopted a severely humiliating attitude toward her mother. During the alleged police misconduct and pushing, her mother sustained a severe injury to her eye, after which her condition suddenly deteriorated and she collapsed to the ground, becoming semi-conscious.
Maryam Kulsoom, while mentioning the tragic matter, wrote that her mother was already seriously ill and suffering from diabetes, but despite this, the police personnel fled from the scene leaving her in that semi-conscious and injured state. What limit of political revenge and brutality is this, that now our elderly parents’ home and women are also not safe? A sick mother’s eye was injured — is there any limit to this cruelty or not? I have run out of words to say anything more on this.
