Corruption, Bribery, and Instability at Their Peak in Balochistan; All Democratic Forces and 240 Million People Must Halt the Path of Unconstitutional Actions: Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta): Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Central General Secretary of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), while addressing a reception held in honor of new students at Bolan Medical University, has said that the root cause of Pakistan’s multifaceted crises is deviation from political, democratic, and constitutional principles, violation of institutional powers, and the dominance of direct or indirect dictatorship over the country. He stated that from the establishment of Pakistan until today, undemocratic forces have broken the Constitution, imposed One Unit, and divided the country, while even today, through Form 47, the country’s institutions and Constitution are being trampled upon on the basis of a selection-based Parliament.

Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, in harsh criticism, said that through the 26th Constitutional Amendment, the concept of free media has been eliminated, and through the 27th Amendment, the judiciary has been strangled. Similarly, through the implementation of SIFC (Special Investment Facilitation Council), provincial autonomy has been ended, and interference in minerals, forests, agriculture, and other sectors has been given legal cover, while unconstitutional interference in the NFC Award has resulted in cuts to the provinces’ shares. Regarding the deteriorating situation in Balochistan, he said that the province’s highways are unsafe, employment doors are closed, and corruption, favoritism, and nepotism have reached their peak. No hope for improvement can be expected from such failed and incompetent representatives.

He warned that due to wrong domestic and foreign policies, the country is facing global isolation. He demanded that the government-sponsored instability in the province be immediately ended, highways be made secure, and the public be provided with employment, quality education, and health facilities. Ziaratwal urged all political and democratic parties and the country’s 240 million people to unite and halt the path of undemocratic and unconstitutional forces so that the country’s future can be secured.
