Qilaat: Bridge on National Highway Near Marjan Blown Up with Explosives; Passengers of a Coach Injured
Traffic Flow Suspended Due to the Blast; Police and Law Enforcement Agencies Reached the Scene, Alternative Route Opened
Qilaat (Daily Qudrat Quetta): In the Marjan area of Qilaat, unidentified persons blew up a bridge on the national highway with explosives.
According to police, on Thursday, unidentified persons blew up a bridge located on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway in the Marjan area of Qilaat with explosives.
According to police, the explosion occurred when a passenger coach was passing over the bridge, as a result of which several passengers traveling in the coach were injured. They were immediately shifted to Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Raisani Hospital in Mastung.
Due to damage to the bridge on the national highway from the blast, traffic flow was affected; however, traffic flow is continuing through an alternative route. Police are carrying out further investigation.
