Easypaisa users can now open PSX trading accounts
KARACHI: Easypaisa users can now open a Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) trading account in just 10 minutes under a new partnership between Easypaisa Digital Bank and KTrade.
The partnership aims to make digital investing more accessible, seamless and inclusive for millions of Pakistanis by allowing users to complete the stock market onboarding process directly through their mobile phones.
The initiative is particularly aimed at making investing easier for first-time investors by simplifying the process of opening a PSX trading account and bringing digital stock market access closer to everyday users.
According to the companies, the partnership achieved a significant milestone on its first day of going live, recording the highest number of investment accounts opened on the Pakistan Stock Exchange in a single day.
The integration between Easypaisa Digital Bank and KTrade is expected to help broaden participation in Pakistan’s capital markets by reducing barriers to entry for new investors and providing a more convenient digital onboarding experience.
